The Sr. Negotiator will be responsible for leading high-level negotiations, mediating disputes, collaborating with clients to achieve optimal outcomes, and developing negotiation strategies. This role includes analyzing contractual terms, assessing risks, and leveraging creative problem-solving techniques to ensure positive resolutions for all parties involved. The Sr. Negotiator must maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication and professionalism. Successful Senior Settlement Advisors will proactively continue to develop their product knowledge after the completion of our comprehensive training.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide clear and concise expert advice to clients of their options and the programs provided by Safeway Resolution.</li><li>Actively listen to client’s needs and concerns to confirm the clients’ qualifications and have the ability to be flexible and adapt sales strategies based on the client’s feedback.</li><li>Conduct thorough financial assessments to develop a personalized debt settlement plan.</li><li>Address client concerns and questions promptly and professionally.</li><li>Educate clients on the benefits, risks, and potential outcomes of debt settlement.</li><li>Contact between 10-15 live and warm leads per month provided via various channels.</li><li>Communicate by phone, email, and SMS with prospective and existing clients professionally, empathetically and with integrity the Coastal Debt Resolve products.</li><li>Follow up with perspective and existing clients with professional persistence.</li><li>Maintain detailed notes in the CRM of client interactions, settlement qualifications, negotiations, and agreements.</li><li>Prepare and review all settlement documentation to ensure a smooth transition to the Backoffice Customer Support team.</li><li>Provide feedback and insight to management on common issues and potential solutions.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Proven expertise in negotiation, dispute resolution, and mediation</li><li>Basic computer skills</li><li>Minimum 2 years’ experience in closing sales</li><li>Proven track record of successful negotiations and settlements</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills</li><li>High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to efficiently manage your time and manage multiple complex cases simultaneously</li><li>Proficiency in CRM systems</li><li>Strong knowledge of debt settlement processes, regulations, and industry standards</li><li>Financial services or debt settlement industry experience</li><li>Bilingual is a plus</li><li>Strong analytical abilities to evaluate contracts, risks, and opportunities</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving capabilities</li><li>Experience building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders</li><li>Proficiency in managing multiple negotiations and priorities simultaneously</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Communication, or a related field (advanced degree is a plus)</li><li>Experience in legal, business development, or contract management is highly recommended</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Pay range and compensation package</strong></p><p>Compensation: Earning potential of $80,000 - 100,000/year.
