[Remote] Azure Data Engineer with Snowflake (W2/Remote/9 YOE)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Highbrow Technology Inc is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure data services, Snowflake, SQL, and ETL/ELT processes.


Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Azure data services
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion and transformation
  • Create and manage data models, tables, and views in Snowflake
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into Azure and Snowflake environments
  • Write complex SQL queries and optimize data performance
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline issues
  • Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions
  • Ensure data quality, security, and governance standards are followed

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
  • Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake
  • Strong SQL development skills
  • Experience with Python for data processing and automation
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing
  • Experience with Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD processes
