How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Reduce preventable harm by identifying safety trends, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing evidence-based protocols that directly lower rates of falls, infections, and hospital-acquired conditions.
- Drive regulatory compliance and survey readiness by ensuring adherence to national standards set by organizations like The Joint Commission and CMS.
- Translate data into action by converting incident reports and quality metrics into systemic improvements that enhance patient outcomes and reduce costly readmissions.
- Shape a culture of safety by educating and mentoring front-line staff, empowering them to speak up, adopt best practices, and lead quality improvement at the bedside.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s):- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room credentialed from the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI).
- Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- 2 years nursing experience required.
- 5 years nursing experience preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- Joint Commission Accreditation and CMS Regulatory experience
- Effective communication skills to act as a liaison between staff, providers and leadership
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive systemic change
