This role is ideal for an early-career editor who understands modern YouTube-style storytelling, pacing, and audience <em>retention</em>, and who actively uses emerging <em>AI</em>-powered tools to enhance editing speed, quality, and creativity. You will work closely with content creators, producers, and marketers to turn long-form and short-form recordings into polished, engaging video content optimized for digital platforms.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Edit long-form YouTube videos and video podcasts, including multi-camera edits where applicable</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Create short-form clips (Shorts, Reels, TikToks) from podcast and YouTube content</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Apply clean cuts, pacing, basic motion graphics, captions, and sound balancing suitable for YouTube audiences</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Use <em>AI</em>-powered tools to assist with editing <em>workflows</em>, captioning, clipping, noise reduction, and content <em>optimization</em></p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Collaborate with producers and creators to implement feedback and revisions efficiently</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines, platform best practices, and publishing requirements</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Organize project files and assets to <em>support</em> a smooth remote <em>workflow</em></p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">1+ year of hands-on experience editing YouTube videos and/or video podcasts</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Demonstrated experience using modern <em>AI tools</em> in video editing <em>workflows</em> (e.g., <em>AI</em>-assisted editing, auto-captioning, audio cleanup, clip generation, or similar)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Proficiency with at least one professional video editing platform (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong understanding of YouTube and podcast content styles, pacing, and viewer engagement</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Non-negotiable:</strong> Prior experience working remotely, with fluency in remote collaboration tools and platforms such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana (or similar).
