HR Generalist, Gap Field
<h2>About the Role</h2>As we continue to evolve our Gap Factory outlet business, we’re focused on building strong store teams, supporting talent growth, and fostering an engaging, people-first culture across our fleet. The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting field teams and store leaders by delivering core HR programs and helping to execute people initiatives that contribute to an engaged workforce and strong business performance.<br><br>In this role, you will partner closely with HR Business Partners, district leaders, and other key stakeholders to support day-to-day HR operations, provide guidance on employee matters, and help implement talent and organizational initiatives. You will also collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence - including Talent Management, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards - to ensure consistent and effective delivery of HR programs.<br><br>This role contributes to a positive employee experience and supports the development and retention of retail<br>talent across multiple markets.<h2>What You'll Do</h2><ul><li><span>Provide day-to-day HR support to Gap Factory outlet field teams, district managers, and store leaders, </span><span>offering guidance on policies, processes, and employee-related matters.</span></li><li><span>Collaborate with HR Business Partners to help implement workforce plans and organizational </span><span>initiatives.</span></li><li>Execute HR programs and processes, including performance management, talent reviews, and engagement initiatives</li><li>Coordinate change initiatives by supporting communication, training, and adoption across store teams.</li><li>Leverage HR data and reports to identify trends and escalate potential risks or concerns to HR partners.</li><li>Contribute to employee engagement efforts by supporting action planning based on feedback and continuous listening insights.</li><li>Work closely with Talent Acquisition and Learning teams to support hiring efforts and onboarding experiences.</li><li> Implement retention strategies while monitoring turnover trends in a high-volume retail environment.</li><li>Support resolution of employee issues in partnership with Employee Relations, ensuring consistency and compliance.</li><li>Align with HR centers of excellence to deliver programs in talent management, total rewards, and employee experience.</li></ul><h2>Who You Are</h2><div><div><div><div><div><div><ul><li><span><span>Experience in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar role supporting employees and leaders.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Foundational knowledge of core HR disciplines, including employee relations, recruiting, performance</span><span> </span></span> <span><span>management, and HR policies.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Proven ability to support HR programs and processes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Working knowledge of HR data and reports to identify basic trends and insights.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Strong communication and <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">relationship-building</span> skills, with the ability to collaborative effectively across </span></span><span><span>teams.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and sound judgment.</span></span></li><li><span><span>A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and grow within HR.</span></span></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div>
