Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect (Forward Deployed Engineering )

Location : Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Day 0 Google Cloud Platform Architecture & Setup: Establish enterprise-grade Google Cloud Platform landing zones from scratch, including Organization Structure, IAM, Networking (VPC, Shared VPC, Firewalls, Private Service Connect), and Security controls.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Write, test, and maintain 100% automated infrastructure code using Terraform (and/or Terragrunt) for reproducible multi-environment setups.
  • SRE & Reliability Engineering: Establish Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) frameworks from the ground up defining SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs, error budgets, runbooks, automated incident management, and failover/disaster recovery strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience Google Cloud Platform Architecture: 6-8 years of experience designing, operating, and automating cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect credential preferred.
  • Hands on Experience on Similar Projects - Need minimum 3 projects which are prodcutionized at enterprise scale on top of Google Cloud Platform cloud which reflect the experiences captured below Terraform Mastery: Deep experience building enterprise Google Cloud Platform environments exclusively through Terraform modules and IaC pipelines.
  • SRE & Observability: Hands-on experience setting up full-stack observability (distributed tracing, log aggregation, custom dashboards, alert routing) and driving SRE practices in production environments.
  • AI/LLM Infrastructure: Experience provisioning compute, container orchestrators (GKE/Cloud Run), and infrastructure required for AI/ML or Agentic workloads (Vertex AI, model hosting, vector stores).
  • Networking & Security: Strong understanding of VPC architecture, security posture management, IAM, Secrets Manager, and KMS.
  • DevOps & Scripting: Proficiency with Bash, Python, Docker, and standard CI/CD tooling.
