District Manager, Interventional Glaucoma - Eye Care

Job Description:

  • manage and promote AbbVie’s Xen Gel stent within the refractory glaucoma market
  • oversee team activities and manage district sales results
  • provide leadership and coaching for team development
  • develop and implement account management plans for growth
  • understand and execute marketing plans
  • manage relationships with physicians and practices
  • demonstrate leadership in needs-based account selling processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
  • MBA Preferred
  • minimum 5-7 years of Healthcare, buy and bill, or device experience is required
  • business analysis and planning skills that drive sales performance
  • excellent judgment and decision-making skills
  • ability to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas
  • ability to develop talent for promotional opportunities
  • valid driver’s license: ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.
  • ability to travel a minimum of 75% adequately to cover territory
