DBA with Redis Focus

You will manage and optimize large-scale Redis environments and database infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Redis Enterprise deployments, including clustering, sharding, replication, high availability, and multi-region configurations.
  • Execute performance tuning, process and query analysis, and monitoring via dashboarding.
  • Own maintenance routines, including software upgrades, patching, and Linux patching support.
  • Automate infrastructure and deployments using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Support application releases and maintenance windows during off-hours.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of combined DBA and Engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Redis Open Source.
  • 5+ years of experience with Redis Enterprise.
  • 3+ years of experience with Azure Cache for Redis and/or GCP Memory Store.
  • Proficiency with Ansible and Terraform for automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including GHA, GitHub, and Jenkins.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL tuning and query analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience mentoring DBA peers and collaborating within a team environment.
