DataPower Admin / Engineer

You will build and manage automation for DataPower Gateways across physical, virtual, and container form factors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop automation to deploy and manage DataPower Gateways to enable day-to-day operations and customer self-service.
  • Build configuration management tools to automate appliance deployment, setting updates, and cluster synchronization.
  • Automate security tasks including certificate management, SSL/TLS configuration, and firewall rule updates.
  • Integrate DataPower into CI/CD pipelines to automate configuration deployments alongside application code changes.
  • Implement automated monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic tools for health, performance, and log capture.
  • Create automated reporting and documentation for configurations, usage, and performance metrics.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in DataPower administration or engineering.
  • Proficiency with Ansible for device deployment, firmware upgrades, and configuration application.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation using Python, Shell scripting, and Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, DevOps pipelines, and GitHub.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD integration and deployment workflows.
  • Ability to automate performance optimization, such as tuning caching and processing rules.
  • Experience managing DataPower across physical, virtual, and container environments.
  • Bachelor's degree.
