Commercial Territory Manager, Southwest Texas

As a Commercial Territory Manager, you will be accountable to develop profitable new Light Industrial Coatings business for the Automotive Refinish group. You will report to the Commercial Regional Sales Manager and will work in partnership with the assigned Territory Managers, Architectural stores and Architectural dealers using our Light Industrial Coatings distributors to accomplish growth goals.The Commercial Territory Manager will spend 100% of your available time on industrial sales growth and account maintenance. Coverage territory includes the Southwest side of Texas.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage and grow direct and distributor sales within a territory.</li><li>Serve as PPG Commercial Coatings’ primary representative and technical resource.</li><li>Prospect and convert new leads; develop distribution network.</li><li>Train and support distributors to improve performance.</li><li>Collaborate on sales strategies and lead joint customer visits.</li><li>Utilize CRM and deliver product training and presentations.</li><li>Develop SOPs and monitor competitors.</li><li>Manage expenses and maintain ethical, customer-focused sales.</li><li>Handle multiple sales opportunities and coach partners.</li><li>Communicate across all customer levels.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related discipline preferred; Equivalent sales experience will also be considered.</li><li>2+ years of previous experience with commercial territory management.</li><li>Bilingual in Spanish and English is a requirement.</li><li>Proficiency with MS Office Suite and using a CRM database.</li><li>Paint or coatings experience is required; Automotive coatings would be advantageous.</li><li>Commit to ongoing learning and travel up to 50%; PPG offers a mileage reimbursement program for travel within the territory!</li></ul>#LI-RemotePPG offers comprehensive benefits such as Health, Dental, Life, Retirement Plan, Paid Vacation & Holidays, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Disability/Leave, and other Voluntary benefit offerings.
