<div><strong>Business Analyst - Transportation and Tolling Industry (Remote)</strong><br/><br/>We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a background in the tolling or transportation industries to join our Adaptation team. This permanent, full-time role supports enhancements to back-office tolling systems by gathering requirements, documenting functional specifications, and coordinating with development and QA teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.<br/><br/><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br/><br/><ul> <li>Gather and document business requirements using feedback from Product Managers, clients, industry experts, competitive analysis, customer contracts, and industry publications.</li> <li>Conduct interviews with stakeholders to understand business needs and document requirements logically using standard templates and methodologies.</li> <li>Collaborate with Product Managers/Project Managers to prioritize and document business requirements.</li> <li>Work closely with Development and Test teams to ensure functional specifications align with business requirements and customer expectations.</li> <li>Supports development team with other technical documentation.</li> <li>Obtain approval of business requirements and design documents from customers.</li> <li>Document non-functional requirements such as security, performance, and scalability.</li> <li>Support the development team with technical documentation and coordinate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing.</li> <li>Track and document changes to functional and business specifications.</li> <li>Assist in creating user documentation, instructions, and procedures.</li> <li>Oversee project schedules and coordinate with third-party/external partners as needed.</li> <li>Monitor and document post-implementation issues and revision requests.</li> <li>Manage tickets, stories, and bugs in the JIRA/DevOps ticketing system, and prioritize tasks with the Scrum Master.</li> <li>Tracks and documents changes to functional and business specifications. </li> </ul> <br/><strong>Qualifications</strong><br/><br/> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, certification in PMI-Business Analysis is a plus</li> <li>5+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably in tolling or transportation back-office systems</li> <li>Strong analytical and communication skills</li> <li>Experience with Agile/Scrum, Software Development Life Cycle, JIRA, Azure DevOps, and technical documentation</li> <li>Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions from technical and abstract information.</li> </ul> <br/><br/><strong>Benefits</strong><br/><br/> <ul> <li>Full-time employee position includes access to many employee benefits including paid time off, health benefits, 401K and life insurance.</li> </ul> <br/><br/>Rate: $50 - $60 hourly DOE<br/><br/></div>
