We’re looking for an experienced Finance & Accounting Business Analyst to support a global ERP and manufacturing systems transformation, with a strong emphasis on capital (capex) initiatives and complex ERP environments. This individual will play a key role on a cross-functional transformation team, working within a diverse ERP landscape that includes Microsoft Dynamics 365, AX 2012, and various legacy platforms acquired over time. The role will focus on partnering with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to align, standardize, and optimize financial processes while enabling a structured transition to a modern D365 environment.The ideal candidate combines strong financial process knowledge, ERP experience, and the ability to operate across multiple systems, contributing to a long-term transformation focused on scalability and consistency.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Process Analysis<ul><li>Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements across key finance and accounting functions, including:</li><li>Record-to-Report (R2R)</li><li>Procure-to-Pay (P2P)</li><li>Fixed assets and capitalization</li><li>Project accounting and capital tracking</li><li>Lead cross-functional workshops to document current workflows and define future-state processes across multiple ERP systems</li><li>Develop clear and structured artifacts such as:</li><li>Process maps, including inter-system flows</li><li>Business requirements documentation (BRDs)</li><li>User stories and acceptance criteria</li></ul>Capex & Transformation Initiatives<ul><li>Support system enablement of capital investment programs as part of a multi-year transformation roadmap</li><li>Define requirements for:</li><li>Capital project planning, forecasting, and tracking</li><li>Asset lifecycle management and capitalization processes</li><li>Financial controls, reporting, and cost allocation</li><li>Partner with finance leadership to ensure alignment with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit expectations</li><li>Improve visibility into capital spend and ROI tracking across systems</li></ul>Multi-ERP Coordination & Integration<ul><li>Work across multiple platforms (D365, AX, legacy ERP systems) to define:</li><li>System ownership and system-of-record design</li><li>End-to-end financial process flows spanning multiple systems</li><li>Document and support integration requirements, including:</li><li>General ledger and subledger data synchronization</li><li>Accounts payable, receivable, and asset data processing</li><li>Intercompany transactions and inventory/cost flows</li><li>Collaborate with solution and technical teams to ensure integrations are scalable and well-defined</li></ul>ERP Implementation & Transition Support<ul><li>Assist solution architects with fit/gap analysis and functional design across current and future systems</li><li>Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications aligned with D365 capabilities while supporting legacy environments</li><li>Support data migration and harmonization efforts, including:</li><li>Chart of accounts standardization</li><li>Financial master data alignment</li><li>Historical data strategy and validation</li><li>Contribute to phased rollout strategies and system coexistence planning</li></ul>Testing & Deployment<ul><li>Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts across systems by:</li><li>Creating comprehensive, end-to-end test scenarios</li><li>Validating financial accuracy across integrations</li><li>Support issue resolution, defect tracking, and readiness for go-live</li><li>Assist in cutover activities, including data validation and financial reconciliation</li></ul>Change Management & Process Standardization<ul><li>Promote consistent financial processes across business units and acquired entities</li><li>Support training initiatives and adoption efforts for finance teams</li><li>Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT throughout implementation and post-deployment phases</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within finance, accounting, or ERP-focused roles</li><li>Strong understanding of core financial processes, including:</li><li>Financial close and reporting (R2R)</li><li>Procure-to-Pay (P2P)</li><li>Fixed assets and capitalization</li><li>Experience working with multiple ERP systems (e.g., D365, AX 2012, SAP, Oracle, or similar)</li><li>Background supporting ERP transformations, integrations, or system migrations</li><li>Experience with capital investment or project accounting initiatives</li><li>Demonstrated ability to document complex, cross-system workflows and requirements</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with both Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and D365 Finance & Operations</li><li>Exposure to ERP consolidation or post-acquisition integration environments</li><li>Knowledge of financial data structures and integration models</li><li>Understanding of cost accounting or inventory processes within manufacturing environments</li><li>Experience with tools such as Power BI or Azure DevOps</li><li>Experience working in
