<p><strong>Air & Ocean Pricing Specialist</strong></p><p><strong>International Freight Forwarding | Houston, TX</strong></p><p><br></p><p>We are hiring an Air & Ocean Pricing Specialist to support international freight forwarding operations across import/export pricing, carrier procurement, and customer quotations.</p><p>This role is responsible for preparing competitive air freight and ocean freight pricing solutions across global trade lanes while supporting sales, operations, and customer growth initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Prepare air and ocean freight quotations for import and export shipments</li><li>Manage spot quotes, RFQs, and contract pricing requests</li><li>Coordinate with airlines, steamship lines, trucking providers, and overseas agents to secure competitive rates</li><li>Support sales teams with pricing strategy and routing solutions</li><li>Review transit times, carrier options, and shipment requirements</li><li>Maintain pricing accuracy within CargoWise and internal systems</li><li>Monitor carrier pricing, fuel surcharges, market conditions, and capacity trends</li><li>Assist with procurement activity, bid management, and customer implementations</li><li>Work closely with operations teams to ensure service alignment and execution</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>2+ years of freight forwarding pricing or logistics operations experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of air freight and ocean freight pricing structures</li><li>Experience handling RFQs, spot quotes, and carrier negotiations</li><li>Understanding of Incoterms, routing, and international shipping processes</li><li>CargoWise experience preferred</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Competitive base salary</li><li>Performance-based bonus potential</li><li>Medical, dental, and vision coverage</li><li>401(k)</li><li>PTO</li><li>Long-term career progression within international freight forwarding</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Qualified professionals with freight forwarding pricing or logistics experience are encouraged to apply directly or confidentially express interest.
